Final results after rounds 8 and 9

October 2, 2011

With the championship being wrapped up relatively early this year, due to the unstoppable Sandy Gourley (penzance wheelers) – the attention was turned to the runner up placings. Round 8 saw an ever improving Drummond Masterton (penzance wheelers) take top honours with a super-fast 10 in difficult conditions. A run of late form gave Jeff Houghton the opportunity in round 9 to clinch a top 3 placing this year. Once again the Penzance Wheelers proved to be the top team in Cornwall and continue to fight off the challenge from One & All. We will see a serious challenge to the Wheelers in 2012?

Congratulations to all the prize winners and qualifiers this season. Here’s hoping that the 2012 olympic year gives you all the inspiration to bag a few pbs next season!

See you at the presentation race in 2012 (date to be confirmed).
